The official wiki is quite slow, sometimes very slow. Rather than waiting 20 seconds for a quick tag check, I would rather see an older version of the page immediately. That is why I made this cached version.

By using this proxy, you alleviate load from the official wiki. Feel free to use and link to this cache!

For security reasons, login links or page edit links go to the official wiki. I don't want someone accidentally submitting login data to my website. That also means you can use this without worrying that you'll accidentally login and edit through my site. The editing page won't load, even if you try to load it directly.

Not all features work on this site. Feel free to submit bug reports, feature requests, or or source code patches!

You can make JOSM use this wiki by setting url.openstreetmap-wiki to
https://lgms.nl/p/osm/cached-wiki/?page= in the preferences.

I also use this for other wikis (e.g. dwi for Deutsche wikipedia, nwi for Nederlands wikipedia, fwi for Factorio wiki) and it's real handy as someone who practically lives in their browser.
